Job Title: Product Support Specialist, North America Sales Enablement Team

Location : Hybrid position onsite in Davidson, North Carolina

Job Summary:

As a member of the Completes Sales Enablement team of North America, the Product Support Specialist will be an integral part of driving the key strategic growth of our industrial products. The candidate will develop and apply their skills through the following: product application and competitive positioning expertise; the development of digital tools that empower sales teams; advocating for customer needs as interface to Product Management teams; knowledge enhancement through education of sales teams and channel partners enabling them to deliver profitable growth.

Responsibilities:

The Product Support Specialist is responsible for providing inspiring and timely support to the sales team. In addition, the Product Support Specialist also supports other activities such as new product launches, product lifecycle management, pricing management, development of product tools, channel programs, communications, and training. The Product Specialist will also be involved in Impact Daily Management (IDM) and process improvement towards a better customer support experience. The candidate will work closely with Product Managers, Sales Channel Leadership, and the Marketing team to help identify and close gaps needed to deliver superior product support to our channel partners.

  • Presale Product Support : Provide support and assistance to field sales personnel including application guidance and offering positioning support for all products offered through assigned channels. Serve as conduit between manufacturing and sales for pre-sales support of lead-times and availability.
  • NPD & Offering Execution : For assigned products and offerings, execute new product commercialization into channels in accordance with NA Launch Plans and Gate 4 requirements. Participate in the NPD process working with the Product Management team and across distribution channels.
  • Margin Growth : Manage and help deliver top line revenue and margin contribution through effective product discount management.
  • Sales Training and Tool Development : Support content development and deployment of product value proposition and competitive positioning through collateral, videos and training communications to sales channel with pertinent information designed to enhance selling capabilities.
  • Process Improvement : Utilize Case Management system to identify repetitive process and product gaps that contribute to inferior customer satisfaction. Lead and direct the appropriate problem resolution tools/ steps to bring to resolution in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; 4 year bachelor's degree is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in engineering or channel marketing support role for industrial equipment is required
  • Experience with B2B or channel distribution highly preferred
  • Familiarity with SalesForce Automation, including case management and generating reports and dashboards is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) is required
  • Experience with developing and delivering training to a large audience is required. Product focused training is a plus.
  • Strong technical aptitude and k nowledge of compressed air equipment is required
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
