The Product Support Manager at Butler Machinery is a vital leadership role responsible for enhancing operational efficiency, safety culture, and customer satisfaction across service and parts departments. With over 50% travel, this position ensures consistency across store locations by reviewing KPIs, financials, and safety practices, while also collaborating with manufacturers like Caterpillar on Dealer Excellence programs and warranty decisions. This is not an IT role; but rather centers on supporting team development, promoting manufacturer programs, and driving strategic growth in aftermarket services—all aligned with Butler’s mission to build long-term relationships founded on trust and mutual success.
What You’ll Do
- Provide support to the Service and Parts Team in your region, including travel to those stores.
- Assist with meeting metrics and attributes set by Caterpillar.
- Conduct contamination control audits, review customer surveys, and provide support to the store for ways to improve customer experience.
What You Bring
- Technical/Mechanical knowledge and Caterpillar or AGCO product experience is a must.
- Proficient with supporting systems like DBS, Service Link, or other related systems preferred.
- Ability to travel an average of 2-3 nights per week to visit stores, off-site meetings, etc.
- Ability to build relationships and be self-sufficient.
- Completion of Lead Yourself of internal candidate is preferred
