As a Analyst Software Engineer, you will be involved in the support of Java and .NET based product and responsibility is to troubleshoot and fix bugs and resolve Client tickets. Responsibilities include coding, debugging, and optimizing and maintaining both frontend and backend components, and providing solutions to data integration problems. You will have experience in supporting/developing Java and .NET applications and have solid skills in Java, C#, java script, SQL Server and related technologies. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong technical and problem solving skills are essential aspects of this role.
In this position, you will provide exceptional technical support to developers and system administrators. To succeed in this role, you must use active listening skills and empathy for the customer as you research and resolve problems before proposing software resolutions. You will be challenged to achieve timely ticket closures and prompt customer responses over the ticketing support tool. Not only will your software development and troubleshooting skill reassure customers struggling with problems, but also your ability to manage expectations concerning outcomes will create a favorable impression of the company and its products. Responsibilities Include: Researching, analyzing, and resolving customer reported issues - Isolating product areas causing the most support queries and working with the development team to fix them - Remotely assisting customer system setup, configuration, and administration; Continually improving internal support processes.

JOB DETAILS:                                           

  • Strong knowledge of development languages/platforms including Java, C#, .Net, MS SQL Server, XML, Java Script.
  • Solve technical problems with little supervision and coaching from lead.
  • Interact with Business Analyst, Technical lead and Project Managers to understand the product requirements.
  • Interact and pair program with other Software engineers on the team to build high quality products
  • Develop knowledge of operational processes around deploying our software products.
  • Troubleshoot deployment and environmental issues, resolve issues in a timely manner across multiple projects.
  • Provide support to internal and external clients. This position requires a keen attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience is required.
  • 2+ years of industry experience as a professional software developer building multi-tier, scalable, enterprise level products required.
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a customer or internal software support position.
    • Design/development/test and troubleshooting in a technical support role with direct customer interface experience for n-tier, enterprise class web applications, preferably involving the following technologies: - Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft .NET, Java, JavaScript, JQuery.
  • 1+ years of solid experience with the Java platform and .NET platform.
  • 1+ years of support experience troubleshooting and fixing problems.
  • Familiarity with Web Services, JavaScript, REST API, JQuery.
  • Familiarity with Integrated Development Environments such as Eclipse and version control systems such as GIT and Subversion.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new and changing technical environments as well as strong analytical, problem solving and quantitative abilities.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills are required.
