Join us as a Product Support Analyst

Alternative Product Team provides support, process and application development to Alternative Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting, Custody, and Transfer Agency teams.  As a key member of this group, the analyst will be working closely with internal business teams to analyze, develop business, liaise with developers and vendors during analysis and design, create and execute UAT plans and scripts, document procedures, provide support, and create and execute implementation plans.  The individual will work both independently and as part of bank-wide project teams to actively analyze department needs and increase operational efficiency.

Some of your key responsibilities include:  

  • Provide on-going support concerning Accounting, Financial Reporting and Consolidation systems
  • Write and review business requirements
  • Static data maintenance
  • Document procedures
  • Facilitate developer or vendor analysis and creation of design documents and functional specifications
  • Create and execute User Acceptance Testing plans and scripts
  • Create, execute and manage project and implementation plans
  • Analyze and design automated solutions to business problems
  • Seek out and participate in team and interdepartmental projects

Qualifications:

  • Primary degree in accounting / banking and finance / economics related discipline
  • Minium 2 years prior accounting/consolidation or business analyst or QA analyst experience preferred
  • Prior involvement or experience working on financial services (preferred fund industry)
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to complete duties as assigned under minimal supervision
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to work with business users (accounting department) and DEV team
  • Prior experience with Oracle EPM, SmartView, Jira, Confluece, QTest (a plus)
