Product Supply Engineering Supervisor Salary Range: $91,000 - $173,000/ Yr.

Product Supply Engineering Supervisor position oversees a group of product supply engineers who test and approve procured technical products. The engineering supervisor is responsible for delegating tasks to have the products inspected, reviewed and tested before they are released into production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Supervise a team of Product Supply Engineers who test and approve procured technical products.
- Assign tasks/projects to Product Supply Engineers.
- Review test results and analyze data to draw conclusions about suppliers ability to provide product to Haas.
- Approve design changes suggested by procurement team to support off-loading process.
- Organize and oversee the inbound approval process and samples from suppliers.
- Compose presentations for management to review progress with suppliers and part approval/rejections.
- As issues occur on the assembly floor – with procured parts – assign engineers to interface with assembly/manufacturing to find a positive resolution.
- Oversee the design/development of tooling and fixtures to support manufacturing.
- Coordinate with CW30 and other international quality control locations to support global procurement. This includes, granting approval/rejections of supplier parts not yet shipped, rendering advise to help suppliers make acceptable product, supply inspection videos/photos/drawings, etc. with the team of direct report engineers.
- Must be able to operate both powered and non-powered material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jack, cranes, and mobile straddle stacker lift.

Minimum Qualifications
- Two years of demonstrated technical leadership in machining and fabricating required.
- Minimum of five years of experience in the engineering related field.
- Must be familiar with the various fabrication methods for metal parts, various inspection methods to measure parts, interpret engineering drawings and identify appropriate tolerances for a given fabrication methods.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, SolidWorks, and CAD-CAM applications required.
- Demonstrated success in analyzing production equipment, processes and materials, and issue resolution.
- Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
- Ability to successfully prioritize, and manage large, complex projects, deadlines, tasks, and teams.
- Logical, reasoning and problem-solving skills required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Knowledge and direct experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to learn new topics, tools and concepts quickly, adopt them, train others and assess effectiveness and costs vs benefits.
- 0-5% Travel required.

Education
Bachelor's Degree BA/BS/BFA/BSA from a four-year college or university is required, plus additional related experience, training and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
