Job Description

Product Success Partner (U4 Financials)

At Unit4, our Product Success Partners (PSPs) bring deep product expertise into the customer journey, helping customers unlock more value from their Unit4 Financials solutions through Success4U. Working alongside Customer Success Managers, PSPs turn product capability into measurable business outcomes by driving adoption, optimisation, and value realisation across finance processes.

What you'll do

  • Partner with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to shape and evolve customer Success Plans, linking business objectives to product adoption, process optimisation, and measurable value.
  • Use deep knowledge of Unit4 Financials to identify adoption gaps, optimisation opportunities, and best-practice approaches across Financials, Procurement, Reporting, Budgeting, and related finance processes.
  • Help customers improve financial efficiency, reporting accuracy, governance, compliance, and decision-making through effective use of Unit4 Financials capabilities.
  • Guide customers towards scalable, future-ready ways of working by promoting standard functionality, reducing customisation, and encouraging adoption of new capabilities.
  • Analyse customer usage patterns and business processes to identify opportunities for increased value realisation and operational improvement.
  • Support Value Enhancement Services (VES) by triaging customer needs and aligning them to appropriate outcome-based packages, assessments, or optimisation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Consulting, Support, Product Management, and Customer Excellence teams to remove blockers and accelerate customer outcomes.
  • Bring the voice of the customer back into Product, Engineering, and Customer Experience teams to influence continuous product and service improvements.
  • Act as a trusted adviser on financial process optimisation, reporting best practices, and digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in ERP consulting, ERP support, Customer Success, or solution delivery, with a strong focus on financial management solutions.
  • Experience working with Unit4 Financials (U4F), Unit4 ERP, or comparable enterprise financial management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of core finance processes, including:
    • General Ledger
    • Accounts Payable
    • Accounts Receivable
    • Fixed Assets
    • Budgeting and Forecasting
    • Financial Reporting
    • Period-End and Year-End Processes
  • Ability to translate product capabilities into measurable business value and guide customers towards achieving strategic business outcomes.
  • Confidence working with customers on adoption, optimisation, process improvement, and value realisation initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret customer data, identify trends, and recommend practical improvements.
  • Experience with financial reporting, analytics, dashboards, data structures, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to turn ambiguous customer needs into clear recommendations, action plans, and success outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with Finance leaders, business users, CSMs, Product, Support, Consulting, and Engineering teams.
  • A proactive, consultative mindset with a strong focus on customer value, best practices, continuous improvement, and long-term customer success.
  • Experience within Higher Education, Public Sector, Professional Services, or other Unit4 target industries is advantageous.
