How will you make an impact?
In this Product Specialist sales role, you will be technical support to sale Agilent GC Mass Spectrometry (MS) systems to commercial, government, and academic institutions in the territory. You will be leveraging your technical knowledge to serve as the GC GCMS expert for your customers and internal collaborators. We encourage independent thinking and creativity as you drive your business. You will be expected to create and develop GCMS opportunities, as well as successful strategies and tactics to increase our presence in our customers’ labs as you hold a quota and are compensated for GC/MS sales in the specified geography. We are a cohesive team of specialists driving Agilent’s success in this dynamic marketplace!
What you will do?
Remain current on Mass Spectrometry market to maintain expertise in Mass Spectrometry systems, competitors, and workflows.

Participate in local technical shows and mass spectrometry-related conferences.

Have a deep knowledge of our product portfolio to ensure we support our customers with the correct solution.

Serve as the mass spectrometry technical liaison between the account manager team, application team, and customers.

Develop and deploy unique strategies to reach customers.

Build customer relationships.

Drive opportunities through the complete sales cycle.

Successfully negotiated complex sales transactions.

Create and deliver seminars that educate and increase awareness of our solutions, ultimately leading to new Agilent customers.

Provide market and product feedback to R&D.

Use CRM and other tools as required to drive business.

Handle complex demands and relationships to enhance customer satisfaction while exceeding Agilent sales goals
Qualifications

Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD. degree in Science or equivalent (chemistry or related discipline)

Typically, at least 4+ years of relevant experience for entry into this level

Strong market knowledge

Excellent presentation skill along with strong communication skills is required

The high comfort level of interacting, discussing, and presenting to internal/external customers.

Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations across different parts of Northern India.
