As the Product Specialist, you will provide assistance on basic technical support for parts and marketing via phone and email for both internal and external sales members in the areas of product selection and application.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Provide assistance to support teams on basic technical support via phone and email for both internal and external sales members

  • Generate quotes for special design requests (SDRs) or miscellaneous parts.

  • Gather information and provide resolution to field problems. May assist with onsite support.

  • Negotiate back-charges.

  • Basic knowledge of codes and standards relevant to supported products and applications

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement.

  • Provide input on product and system roadmap

  • Assist in developing material for on-site sales interactions, such as tours and training.

  • Develop understanding of other equipment in our industry.

  • Review and provide input for improvement on technical documentation.

  • Develop and iterate process documents.

  • Thoroughly document calls and stakeholder interactions in CRM.

  • Partner cross-functionally with other internal teams including Purchasing, IT/Systems, Business Units, Finance, and any others to resolve order-related challenges.

 

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

  • Experience: 4-6 years of relevant work experience required.

  • Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree or equivalent years of job experience required.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, such as a computer and phone. Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion. Substantial motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The person is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data, and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Occasional mobility required to attend in-person meetings and complete various office tasks.
