· Job Purpose:
The
Product Specialist is responsible for promoting and supporting the company's
surgical products by providing clinical and technical expertise to healthcare
professionals. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, developing strong
customer relationships, conducting product demonstrations and training, and
ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with
company policies and industry regulations
Key Tasks /Responsibilities:
Promote and sell the company's surgical products to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals.- · Achieve
assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall business objectives.
- · Build and
maintain strong relationships with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and other
healthcare stakeholders.
- · Conduct
product presentations, demonstrations, and in-service training for customers.
- · Provide
clinical and technical support during product evaluations and surgical
procedures when required.
- · Identify new
business opportunities and develop strategies to increase market share.
- · Monitor market
trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, and report findings to
management.
- · Prepare sales
forecasts, customer visit reports, and other required documentation in a timely
manner.
- · Coordinate
with internal departments to ensure efficient order processing, product
availability, and customer satisfaction.
- · Attend medical
conferences, workshops, and exhibitions to promote products and expand
professional networks.
- · Ensure
compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and applicable healthcare
regulations.
- · Perform any
other duties assigned by the Surgical Division Manager.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or any higher qualification in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Medical Laboratory, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or any related healthcare field.
- 1–3 years of experience in medical device or surgical product sales.
- Hands-on experience with Orthopedic Surgery, General Surgery, and Laparoscopic (Minimally Invasive) Surgery products is required.
- Experience in operating room support and surgical procedures is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surgical products, medical devices, and healthcare market dynamics.
- Must be able to drive and willing to travel frequently. A Saudi driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
- Strong business development mindset with the ability to identify new opportunities and expand customer relationships.
