Product Specialist, Technology Solutions100% Remote within California, Must reside in California
We are seeking a Product Specialist to join the Foundation in its mission of benefitting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges—the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation. What You’ll Do
Under the direction of the Product Manager, the Product Specialist, Technology Solutions will drive project and product success for a wide range of projects in support of Foundation internal programs, Collaborative Impact Partners, and the CCC Chancellor’s Office. The wide range of technology projects is focused on system change for the FoundationCCC through cross-departmental collaboration.
The Product Specialist, Technology Solutions, will take an active role in ensuring all aspects of FoundationCCC products are delivered to the highest standard of quality. As part of the larger Technology Solutions Department, this position is also critical to developing and implementing strategic initiatives to move the Foundation forward in accomplishing its mission.
- Coordinate and manage the complete project lifecycle for technology products through inception, design, development, testing, implementation, and sustainment.
- Ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and timely execution and ongoing maintenance or enhancements of products.
- Establish and update product roadmaps that are catered to each product.
- Collaborate with members of the project team on items such as design, marketing, sales, user adoption, feature testing, QA testing, UAT testing, analytics, support documentation, and user support.
- Track day-to-day product activities and milestones to ensure product goals are achieved based on stated objectives.
- Manage multiple products simultaneously, ensuring product artifacts are complete, current, and retained appropriately while providing product updates to keep stakeholders informed of project status.
- Effectively communicate relevant product information, including project risks, to leadership to anticipate and resolve issues.
Attributes for Success
- Experience with Atlassian products: JIRA, Confluence, and Service Desk; experience using JIRA to track project tasks is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy; ensures that all communications, deliverables, and work products are accurate, professional, and audience-appropriate while adhering to the organization’s brand and style guides.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and effectiveness in working with a high-performing team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to think strategically to achieve department, organization, and performance goals.
- Tolerant and welcoming of ambiguity and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities while working effectively when parameters are not well defined; able to make midcourse adjustments, as required, in a flexible manner.
- Ability to work remotely and navigate various technology platforms (Zoom, MS Office Suite-Teams, Outlook, Salesforce Lightning and other database programs, Google Suite, etc.)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information.

Budgeted Annual Salary Pay Range:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00
Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
