Key Performance Areas (Core responsibilities & outputs of the position)
- Achieve Sales Targets.
- To promote the Company’s and Product trademarks and brands.
- To achieve a sufficient level of product knowledge. (Pass rate for tests are >80%).
- Responsible for sales and marketing activities in Sales Reporting Territory (SRA), namely Western Cape & Southern Cape as indicated by your target list, or any other SRA as agreed with you.
- To complete a minimum of 8-10 customer calls per day (in the ratio of 3-4 medical specialists calls per day, plus 2-3 Nurses/ Hospital Units calls per day, plus additional Hospital Pharmacy calls).
- To implement the marketing and sales strategies as indicated by the Company.
- Responsible for all product training and education related to HCP’s, Nurses, Pharmacists and Patients.
- Responsible for weekly and monthly sales performance reports, competitor activity reports, expense reports, claims and any other administration as requested by Business Unit Manager.
- Keep business expenses within Company requirements.
- To attend Congresses, CME Meetings and related marketing activities as indicated by the Company.
- To secure and maintain sound business relationships with all customers and key accounts.
- To manage the affairs of the Company in all aspects actin in the best interest of the business, comply with relevant acts, legal demands and ethical standards and Clinigen Policies.
- To manage the stock levels on behalf and for customers.
- To support with the Section 21 “Named Patient Business” on hospital level service if required by the Company.
Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Three or Four years related experience in similar position in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
