Il s’agit d’un poste sur le terrain nécessitant des visites régulières en personne chez les clients dans le territoire de l’Est de Montréal, Laval–Laurentides et l’Est du Québec. Le ou la spécialiste sécurité – Québec est responsable de stimuler une croissance rentable des ventes du portefeuille de sécurité de Fisher Scientific dans le territoire attribué. La personne titulaire du poste offre des solutions adaptées aux besoins opérationnels, de conformité et d’affaires des clients. Les clients comprennent notamment des environnements de production pharmaceutique et biotechnologique, de santé et sécurité clinique, ainsi que de recherche et développement.

Responsabilités principales

  • Stimuler et maintenir une croissance rentable des ventes dans le territoire attribué au Québec en développant de nouvelles occasions d’affaires auprès de clients existants et potentiels.
  • Établir de solides relations avec les clients en comprenant leurs besoins, leurs défis et leurs priorités, et en recommandant des produits et des solutions de sécurité qui soutiennent leurs objectifs opérationnels, de conformité et d’affaires.
  • Collaborer avec les directeurs de comptes, les équipes de ventes internes et les partenaires fournisseurs afin d’exécuter les stratégies de croissance du territoire.
  • Soutenir les processus de soumissions et d’appels d’offres, les recommandations de produits, les présentations clients et les autres activités liées aux ventes.
  • Maintenir à jour les renseignements relatifs aux comptes, au pipeline et au territoire dans le CRM et les autres systèmes internes.
  • Participer aux rencontres clients, aux activités régionales des ventes et aux revues d’affaires.
  • Se tenir informé(e) de l’activité du marché, des tendances concurrentielles et des besoins des clients afin de repérer de nouvelles occasions de croissance.
  • Démontrer les valeurs de Thermo Fisher Scientific : intégrité, intensité, innovation et implication.

Formation et expérience

  • Baccalauréat, de préférence en sécurité, en SSE, en commerce, en administration des affaires, en sciences ou en génie.
  • 2 ans ou plus d’expérience en vente, idéalement dans les produits de sécurité ou les produits pour environnements contrôlés, ou expérience pertinente équivalente dans l’industrie.

Connaissances, compétences et aptitudes

  • Une solide connaissance des produits de sécurité et des EPI est essentielle; une connaissance des produits et des normes liés aux salles blanches et aux environnements contrôlés constitue un atout.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication, en présentation et en développement de relations.
  • Maîtrise des plateformes CRM, notamment Salesforce.
  • Capacité à gérer de multiples priorités et à respecter les échéanciers dans un environnement dynamique.
  • Expérience dans des environnements pharmaceutiques ou scientifiques, un atout.
  • Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais.
  • Permis de conduire valide requis.
  • Disponibilité à se déplacer pour des visites clients, avec de 25 % à 50 % des déplacements comportant des nuitées.

Role Summary
This is a field-based role requiring regular in-person customer visits across East Montréal, Laval–Laurentides, and Eastern Québec. The Québec Safety Specialist is responsible for driving profitable sales growth for Fisher Scientific’s safety portfolio within the assigned territory by delivering solutions aligned with customer operational, compliance, and business needs. Customers include pharmaceutical and biotech production, clinical health and safety, and research and development environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and maintain profitable sales growth across the assigned Québec territory by developing new business with existing and prospective customers.
  • Build strong customer relationships by understanding customer needs, challenges, and priorities, and recommending safety products and solutions that support their operational, compliance, and business goals.
  • Partner with Account Managers, Inside Sales, and supplier partners to execute growth strategies across the territory.
  • Support quotations, bids, product recommendations, customer presentations, and other sales-related activities.
  • Maintain accurate account, pipeline, and territory information in CRM and other internal systems.
  • Participate in customer meetings, regional sales activities, and business reviews.
  • Stay informed on market activity, competitive trends, and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in safety, EH&S, commerce, business administration, science, or engineering.
  • 2+ years of sales experience, ideally in safety or controlled-environment products, or equivalent relevant industry experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of safety and PPE products is essential; familiarity with cleanroom and controlled-environment products and standards is an asset.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, including Salesforce.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in pharmaceutical or scientific environments is preferred.
  • Fluent in both French and English.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Willingness to travel for customer visits, with 25%–50% of travel involving overnight stays.
