A Day in the LifeAs the Product Specialist for the Structural Heart (SH) portfolio in the Nordics, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing marketing strategies aimed at accelerating the growth of the SH business. Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with sales and market development teams, EU marketing, and various cross-functional teams.
You will be accountable for the planning and implementation of marketing plans, engaging with sales teams, conducting customer segmentation, and developing and executing regional marketing strategies and campaigns. Additionally, you will oversee the execution of product launches to ensure the successful adoption of SH innovations, manage local promotional activities, and organize regional customer engagements, as well as local congresses and events. Candidates need to live in the Nordic region.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Designing and driving the execution of marketing and product strategies to support the Structural Heart TAVI business
  • Working closely with the regional marketing team, as well as country sales leadership to drive execution of the regional marketing plans. Special focus will be on campaign tracking and execution in a measurable way
  • Gather and analyze competitive information to develop new initiatives as needed.  Oversee development and execution of competitive sales and marketing initiatives in collaboration with WE marketing team
  • Provide support to sales team on matters related to marketing, therapy/product expertise, clinical data (and other relevant aspects) in customer visits and local events and engage and build relationships with main customers and key opinion leaders in the region
  • Coordinating congress activities, developing marketing materials, monitoring supply/delivery and order related questions, tracking of marketing campaigns to evaluate results and providing recommendations for future marketing promotions
  • Travel requirement:  30-50%.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Marketing or business or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sales and/or marketing
  • Comprehensive marketing/commercial experience from the medical device field, preferably from cardiology area
  • Strong track record of project execution
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment 
  • Ability to clearly communicate marketing strategy and tactical plans.

Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional partners, prioritize high impact activities, and keep complex projects moving forward as well as quickly develop relationships and rapport with individuals at all levels and from all cultures is a distinct advantage. Strong capacity to rapidly understand clinical/technical aspects of the job is important.
