The Role
Work Flexibility: Field-based

The core objective of this role is to provide technical expertise to Agents/distributors in order to drive the achievement of sales objectives, as defined by the Regional Sales Manager.

The product specialist acts as a real partner in the field with agents and distributor, providing crucial information about Neurovascular technologies and products, collaborating with physicians whenever necessary. Support the education efforts and actively participate to key customer event, workshops, and trainings. Partner with the Country Marketing Manager to follow up Marketing actions and KOL management.

What you will do

Key Activities & Accountabilities

Product / Market Development:

  • Act as a technical expert for the full range of NV products in the assigned area and is recognized for his vast knowledge and expertise of all NV products.
  • In collaboration with the Marketing manager, is responsible for coordinating and executing product training (Presentation in front of large audience of physicians).
  • Facilitates Physician to Physician programs and educational trainings.
  • Supports field execution of sales and marketing programs through active presence in the field, working with agents and distributors.
  • Assist Agents and Distributors in Cath Lab whenever it is necessary.
  • Report to the Marketing manager any necessary information to develop creative approaches to market development.
  • Support the sales manager

Building and Maintaining Relationships:

  • Identifies and develops relationships with key opinion leaders in the field
  • Develops relationship with agents/distributors through responsiveness to their requirement and needs

Quality:

  • Ensures awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Stryker.
  • As interface to Agents, Customers and Sales Organization has direct responsibility to facilitate, share documents and process to identify, notify and ensure any complaint or problem are addressed, thereby demonstrating high commitment to Quality in all interactions and behaviors.

What you need

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Administration, Sales or Marketing, pharma, biology, bio-engineering or related experience/training in a medical, scientific, technical field
  • 4+ years of experience in medical device sales and/or marketing
  • Experience working in the angiographic room
  • Native or C2 level of Italian and advanced level of English (C1)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of sales or marketing experience in neurovascular field  
  • Advanced degree in a medical or technical field
  • Proven track record in NV Sales success

  • Comfortable navigating complex matrix organization
  • Results orientation with a strong focus on achieving sales targets and delivering clear strategy

Role details:

  • Territory: Center-North Italy
  • Based Location: Bologna, Milan, or Verona
  • Type: 100% Field
  • Travel percentage: 70-80% (up to 50% overnight stay)
  • Presence in OR: 60%
