About Your Business Area/Department:

The Product and Solutions Management team customizes our BI solutions for our enterprise customers.  We partner with the customer to determine requirements, develop the customized process, and provided continued delivery and support for the solution.  Our mission is to provide customized solutions to our top customers that exceed their expectations and allows them to be successful.

Summary of the role:

The Product Solutions Specialist is responsible for customized support along with subscription maintenance and monitoring for enterprise customers.  They will coordinate alignment of data across multiple production databases as well as document data administration procedures and guidelines. They will also provide escalation support to internal customers. The Specialist will support BI Product and R&D Teams with new development or product updates

  • Validate development-originated data changes
  • Perform QA on data-related bug fixes.
  • Execute appropriate data enhancements and modifications per customer requests

They should be familiar with our Rate, Agency and Demand data sets.

                                                         

About the ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required in related field
  • Minimum of two years of hospitality and/or data analysis experience OR two years of customer service experience on hospitality systems. Strong knowledge of travel industry pricing and revenue management practices
  • Strong knowledge of data quality management and best practices
  • Knowledge of hospitality systems such as central reservation systems (CRS), property management systems (PMS), online travel agents (OTAs) or data warehouses relevant to business intelligence preferred, hotel Revenue Management / pricing knowledge
  • Literate with Microsoft Office.  Working knowledge of SQL and other data and analytics packages preferred.
