The Job:
This position to responsible for both product and sales training to enable our field force. Part of the commercial team in SEA and work on commercialization efforts. Position is crucial in the implementation of training for employees, channel partners and end users on both the sales and product specifications.
You’ll get to:
- Analyze needs and develop training programs for all SBD products.
- Conduct training for employees, channel partners, and end-users on sales and product specifications, emphasizing value as a solution provider.
- Stay updated on competitors' offerings and perform benchmark analyses to highlight SBD product superiority.
- Create and maintain guides and collateral for all brands, adhering to brand guidelines.
- Lead educational programs for new employees.
- Maintain cutting-edge, user-friendly online training tools.
- Continuously update and improve content in SBD‘s online resources, ensuring 100% course completion for new and existing employees.
- Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions for SBD Managers.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Product Management, and Marketing on commercialization efforts.
- Oversee technical certification programs and manage related databases.
- Continuously work on self-improvement to stay current on products, sales, and supervisory practices.
The Person:

- Education: Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree/ professional technical education
- Experiences:
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in the tools manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record in creating and implementing training programs, particularly in sales training for teams and channel partners.
- Extensive technical product knowledge and strong business acumen.
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation.
- Skills:
- Expertise in designing and delivering both in-person and online training programs.
- Strong understanding of product specifications and competitive offerings.
- Proficient in sales processes and techniques.
- Ability to analyse training needs and conduct competitive analysis.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple initiatives.
- Familiarity with online training tools and platforms.
- Experience leading Train-the-Trainer sessions and managing certification programs.
- Ability to use innovative pedagogical approaches in training.
- Personal attributes:
- Highly effective communication skills, both written and oral.
- Keen focus on customer centricity
- Exceptional professionalism.
- Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment.
- Other requirements:
- Proficiency in English.
- Relevant certifications in training, sales, or product management are a plus.
