Job Description
As the Product Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to make outbound calls to potential customers, nurturing leads, and converting them into sales opportunities. You will be responsible for delivering persuasive sales pitches, handling objections, and effectively communicating the value proposition of our products or services. This position requires exceptional communication skills, a target-oriented mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct outbound calls to potential customers with the goal of generating leads and qualifying them as sales opportunities.
- Engage with prospects in a professional and persuasive manner, effectively presenting the benefits and features of our products or services.
- Actively listen to customer needs, identify their pain points, and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of our products or services, staying updated on new offerings, promotions, and industry trends.
- Utilize CRM systems and other tools to accurately document lead interactions, update customer information, and track progress.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth lead handover and provide any necessary background information for effective follow-up.
- Handle customer objections and concerns professionally, addressing them confidently and guiding the conversation towards a positive outcome.
- Meet or exceed individual and team-based targets for lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue generation.
- Continuously improve sales techniques and product knowledge through training sessions and self-learning.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards while maintaining customer confidentiality
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in sales or a related field are a plus.
- Proven experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or telemarketing, preferably in a call center environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential customers.
- Strong persuasive and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle objections and close sales.
- Results-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and other sales-related software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Resilience and ability to handle rejection, maintaining a positive attitude and motivation.
