Product Sales ExecutiveWhat does a successful Sales Executive do at Fiserv?
As a Sales Executive at Fiserv, you will be responsible for growth within the highly competitive B2B billing, receivables, and payment environment. Success comes from diagnosing client needs, delivering differentiated value messaging, negotiation, and formation of strategic relationships with senior leaders. This role requires managing complex internal and external relationships, deep understanding of our target markets, and clear delivery of value across various channels.
This is a client facing role with expectations to visit and win in the client’s office.
What you will do:
Lead sales efforts in the Corporate Segment by promoting B2B invoicing and payment solutions that empower clients to boost revenue, reduce outstanding receivables, facilitate digital transformation, and ensure the security of their ecosystem.
Create a significant positive effect on the client's business by clearly communicating the Fiserv value proposition within the assigned vertical markets of Wholesale Merchants, Industrial, Government, and Consumer Packaged Goods.
Create comprehensive client proposals, including solutions, financial justifications, growth plans, budgets, project timelines, and expected results to secure business with maximum revenue and margin.
Build detailed account plans for aspirational clients and new cross-sales opportunities, negotiating pricing and contract terms, and collaborating closely with relationship management.
Collaborate with key stakeholders cross-functionally including Clients' C-Suite executives, Finance/Treasury, HR, Security/Fraud, IT, marketing, and operations.
Maintain regular communication with clients, articulating the Fiserv value proposition while managing multiple opportunities through various sales stages.
What you will need to have:
6+ years of experience in sales and/or business development roles with successfully demonstrated performance against quota for multiple years.
6+ years of successful new business generation and solution selling, with a deep understanding of market dynamics, challenges, trends, and operations.
6+ years of navigating complex matrix organizations and leading cross-functional initiatives, with a client-focused approach and proven success in enhancing the client’s experience.
6+ years of executive presence with excellent communication, influence, and negotiation skills, and knowledge of industry processes, compliance, and regulations.
Availability to travel up to 60%.
Bachelor’s degree or a combination of work, education, and/or military experience.
What would be great to have:
Proven track record in technology software or services sales to large accounts, with an understanding of solution selling.
Familiarity with payment processing.
Prior billing and receivables experience including understanding of AR processes, reconciliation, and ERP systems
Experience using and maintaining CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
Salary Range
$59,500.00 - $126,600.00These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
