JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for working with multiple product and engineering teams to prioritize security features and security-related defects, ensuring the implementation of appropriate security controls and mitigations.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute to the secure architecture and design of products, services, and cloud environments.
Monitor, assess, and prioritize security threats and vulnerabilities; identify appropriate mitigations and communicate associated risks.
Plan and execute security assessments, including static and dynamic testing, code reviews, penetration testing, and threat modeling.
Develop and implement security solutions throughout the product lifecycle, including security tools, CI/CD integrations, product security features, and corrective actions.
Integrate secure development and operational practices into engineering activities and cloud environments (IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS).
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in information security areas such as application security, security architecture, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
Support third-party security audits and bug bounty programs.
Research emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and mitigation strategies.
Contribute to the development and delivery of security training.
Apply modern software engineering practices and tools, particularly within JavaScript-based environments.
PRODUCT SAFETY
Monitor and escalate potential Product Safety issues through the appropriate systems and management channels.
Establish and maintain communication with customer Product Safety representatives.
Collaborate with Product Safety representatives across Stoneridge design and manufacturing locations.
Participate in project and product audits, P-FMEAs, Control Plans, and other Product Safety-related activities.
Support investigation and corrective actions for deviations or nonconformities related to Product Safety.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Develop and execute the annual internal audit plan, including planning, coordination, reporting, and follow-up of nonconformities.
Coordinate external audits and maintain communication with certification bodies.
Evaluate process effectiveness and efficiency and provide feedback to process owners and auditees.
Identify and communicate improvement opportunities.
Report internal audit results and nonconformities during Management Review.
Maintain current knowledge of applicable standards, Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs), and environmental regulations.
Act as an advisor to process owners regarding QMS requirements and compliance.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
KNOWLEDGE:
90% English proficiency.
Experience integrating different types of technologies.
