Who We Are

Storkcraft has been helping families bring their babies home safely since 1945. We’re North America’s longest-standing name in baby cribs — and we’ve stayed that way by taking safety, design, and product quality seriously. In 2025, Fast Company recognized us as one of the Best Workplaces for Innovators. We give back to the communities we operate in, and we take that seriously too. Our core values aren’t wall art. Ownership, customer-first thinking, relentless improvement, speed and execution, and integrity — these show up in how decisions get made, how problems get solved, and what we expect from each other.

About the team

Our Global Product Safety & Compliance (PSC) team ensures every product we bring to market meets the safety, regulatory, and certification standards that families trust. We manage product testing, regulatory documentation, certifications, and compliance reporting across our global product portfolio.

Our work is highly detail-oriented, standards-driven, and directly impacts the safety and quality of every product we sell. Accuracy matters, attention to detail is essential, and maintaining compliance is critical to our success.

The Role

As a Product Safety & Compliance Coordinator, you’ll play an important role in supporting our global compliance program by managing product documentation, coordinating certification activities, maintaining compliance records, and assisting with regulatory reporting. You’ll be collaborating cross functionally with Product Design, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Sourcing and external testing laboratories.

This isn’t a check-the-box role. You’ll develop an understanding of our products, applicable standards and regulations, certification programs, testing requirements, and documentation processes that help ensure our products remain compliant throughout their lifecycle. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, maintain, and organize documentation supporting product certification programs, including GREENGUARD Gold and other third-party certifications.
  • Maintain product matrices, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and other technical documentation to support product compliance.
  • Coordinate annual compliance testing, certification renewals, and evaluation timelines to ensure requirements and deadlines are met.
  • Generate, maintain, and distribute compliance certificates and related documentation for new and existing products.
  • Review product documentation for accuracy and completeness and assist in preparing reports supporting compliance and certification activities.
  • Maintain accurate testing, certification, audit, and compliance records within internal document management and tracking systems.
  • Monitor testing status, certification expirations, and outstanding compliance actions to help ensure products remain compliant throughout their lifecycle.
  • Track product testing failures and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of corrective actions.
  • Update compliance data across multiple internal systems to maintain accurate product and certification records.
  • Partner with Product Design, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Sourcing, and other cross-functional teams to support compliance initiatives and respond to documentation requests.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance processes, documentation standards, and recordkeeping practices.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working across multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience working with technical or regulatory documentation and compliance records is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with product safety certification programs such as GREENGUARD Gold, OEKO-TEX®, CertiPUR-US®, Baby Safety Alliance, or similar certification programs is considered an asset.
  • French and/or Spanish language skills are considered an asset.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without employer sponsorship.
