Job Description
The Product Reporting Analyst within Client Operations APAC will play an important role in delivering high-quality product and client reporting across the Asia-Pacific region, including Japan. This is a client-facing support role at the intersection of investment knowledge, data quality, and effective communication. The analyst will maintain and produce standard marketing and client materials, develop customized client reporting, and help ensure that clients, prospects, and consultants receive accurate, timely, and insightful information. The role offers the opportunity to build deep expertise in the investment approaches covered by the team, including portfolio outlook, process, positioning, strategy, and the current market environment.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of standard product and client materials, ensuring they are accurate, clear, and delivered on time, while contributing flexibly during peak reporting periods
- Produce recurring monthly and quarterly materials, including customized client reports and client presentations
- Review team deliverables as needed to help ensure accuracy, consistency, and reasonability of data and messaging
- Partner closely with Investment Products & Fund Strategies and the Client Group to understand investment approaches, client reporting needs, and the marketing and reporting guidelines that govern our activities
- Primarily cover Multi-Asset products, with exposure to other asset classes across the APAC business
- Develop practical expertise in asset allocation and multi-asset investment strategies, building a strong foundation for continued growth in investment reporting and client service
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will bring strong investment curiosity, sound judgment, and the ability to produce high-quality work in a collaborative, client-focused environment. Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant professional experience in the financial industry, investment management, or client reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese, including traditional and simplified Chinese
- A strong foundation in capital markets, investment products, and portfolio concepts, with curiosity to continue deepening investment knowledge
- Understanding of asset allocation and multi-asset investment strategies
- Highly analytical and data-driven mindset, with strong quantitative skills and confidence working with large and complex data sets
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering work that meets a high professional standard
- Independent self-starter who works well in a team environment and can manage multiple assignments against strict and competing deadlines driven by prospects, consultants, and clients
- Interest in process improvement, automation, and the thoughtful adoption of emerging technologies, including AI
- Positive, collegial attitude and a high level of professionalism
- Progress toward CFA Level II is preferred
