The Role
About Aerones

Aerones is transforming the renewable energy industry with world-leading robotic solutions for wind turbine maintenance. With a global team and a client base that includes the world’s largest energy companies, Aerones is scaling rapidly and shaping the future of clean energy.

We are looking for a Product R&D Operations Manager — a unique role at the intersection of robotics, software, and operations — to build clarity, alignment, and scalability into our product lifecycle.

🚀 Your Mission

The Product R&D Operations Manager acts as the strategic bridge between Product Management, R&D, Manufacturing, and Operations. You will ensure that innovation translates smoothly into services and products by streamlining processes, enabling collaboration, and driving operational excellence.

This role is both visionary and practical: you’ll design workflows that scale for the next 3–5 years, while also ensuring that today’s teams are aligned, efficient, and unblocked.

🔑 What You’ll Do
  • Product Lifecycle Processes – Develop and maintain end-to-end workflows across hardware, robotics, and software products.
  • Roadmap Alignment – Coordinate across Product and R&D to keep an integrated roadmap on track; flag risks and ensure accountability for milestones.
  • Cross-Functional Bridge – Facilitate communication and alignment between product, engineering, manufacturing, and operations.
  • Process Optimization – Standardize handoffs, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements.
  • Tool & Data Governance – Manage and optimize tools (Wrike, Jira, Confluence, ERP, CAD, DevOps) and ensure product metrics are reliable, accessible, and actionable.
  • Change Management – Own the adoption of new processes and tools; plan smooth rollouts, training, and follow-ups.
  • Feedback & Insights – Establish loops to gather input from users, technicians, and customers, feeding it back into product decisions.
  • Enablement & Onboarding – Train teams and new hires on best practices, tools, and workflows.
  • Strategic Vision – Shape the long-term structure of Aerones’ product development operations while ensuring short-term execution excellence.
🧠 You’re a Great Fit If…
  • People naturally look to you for clarity, structure, and guidance.
  • You’re a skilled communicator, equally at ease with technicians, managers, and executives.
  • You thrive on facilitation: connecting people, processes, and data so others can do their best work.
  • You balance data-driven decision-making with practical judgement.
  • You simplify complexity and make workflows understandable and usable.
  • You foster inclusivity and encourage open, constructive feedback.

Requirements💻 Your Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years in product development or operations (ideally covering both robotics and software).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experienced in using AI tools to enhance decision-making and productivity.
  • Expert in workflow systems (Wrike, Jira) and documentation tools (Confluence, Miro).
  • Familiar with ERP systems, CAD version controls.
  • Skilled in process mapping, automations, and integrations.
  • Experience in backlog management, sprint planning, and roadmap maintenance.
  • Strong ability to visualize data (dashboards, reports, Gantt charts).
  • Knowledge of budgeting and cost control.
📊 How Success Will Be Measured
  • Roadmap Predictability – % improvement in on-time milestone completion.
  • Process Efficiency – % reduction in average cycle times.
  • Data Accuracy – % consistency in product dashboards.
  • Stakeholder Satisfaction – positive rating in quarterly feedback surveys.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment – Zero major blockers missed or unescalated.
🌟 Why Join Aerones?
  • Shape how product operations scale at one of the most innovative clean-tech companies in the world.
  • Work at the cutting edge of robotics and software.
  • Join a mission-driven team solving some of the biggest challenges in renewable energy.
  • Competitive salary and career growth opportunities.

📩 Apply now and help Aerones scale robotic innovation for the global wind industry.
