Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and introduces quality standards in accordance with company and customer requirements.
  • Coaches, mentor and conduct training for targeted organizations on quality.
  • Assist in preparing & presenting quality management reports; Maintain and improve on the current quality documentation processes.
  • Represent BU Quality & Reliability in Product Development Process (PDP) related activities.
  • Advises design engineering on selection, application and test of components and systems.
  • Recommends design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability.
  • Determines reliability requirements of components and systems to achieve company and customer reliability objectives.
  • Participates in test and measurements, guide and assist in evaluation of data and results, recommend corrective actions.
  • Makes recommendations for changes in the selection and application of components and systems. May propose changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability.
  • Assist in the identification and ongoing management of critical parts.
  • Facilitates FMECA, document component reliability projects and work with supplier and engineer to enable reliability test plan.
  • Drive and support supplier Product Qualification Program (PQP) activities.
  • Collaborate with Operations and BU teams to ensure alignment with Copy Exact (CE!) compliance requirements.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills. Leads others to solve complex problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong Mechanical/Materials engineering fundamentals, Teamcenter experience is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience in Design of Experiments, Data Analysis and Regression Modeling using JMP or any other tools
  • Skills in Microsoft Office and SAP

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's / master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Management, Process Improvement or Corporate Quality roles
