Job Description
You will trained to assure quality products and processes by establishing and enforcing quality standards, test approaches, and relevant controls using tools, data, and trend analysis; you will also learn to lead post-release product analysis and prepare analysis reports for customer communication, provide regular quality status updates to stakeholders, learn to drive continuous improvement and standardization of best practices (including moving quality to the left), and support the organization's Quality Management System (QMS).
You will also learn to identify and develop practical AI use cases in engineering, quality, and manufacturing that improve productivity, support faster decision-making, and strengthen product/process quality.
The scope of this role spans cross-functional quality engagement with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and global teams, with hands-on experience across software, hardware, and manufacturing. You will learn to execute the quality strategy, prioritizes actions, and serves as a role model leading and driving continuous improvement and standard.
You will report to Quality manager based in Singapore.
Learning Outcomes:
• Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and ensure corrective and preventive action planning, addresses true and systemic root cause with various functions/stakeholders to drive resolution.
• Conduct defect and/or failure trend analysis and propose/work with project team for improvement initiatives.
• Hands-on implementing lessons learned in other/new products, respectively new or running projects.
• Adhere to defined and communicated standards, methods, and procedures, with openness to identifying improvements.
• Seek and implement process improvement ideas in primary work area.
• Apply Quality Engineering principles together with AI to enabled predictive quality, failure pattern recognition
Technical Skills and Competencies:
• B.SC in Electronic/Electrical/Computer Science Engineering
• Experience in a Quality or Design function in a Product Development environment/Customer Quality is preferred
• Basic understanding of Electronic Manufacturing, Assembly and Test processes
• Basic understanding of schematic diagrams, semiconductor device knowledge, IC assembly / package and test process
• Have an analytical mindsets with knowledge of problem solving process and tools.
• Experience in AI (Gen AI, Machine Learning) is an advantage
Skills Required
