OCIANA is a dual-use digital maritime AI product supporting defence, security and supply chain customers globally. OCIANA provides risk and optimization solutions for multiple stakeholders across both sectors. 

ROLE:

This position blends Product Management with Project Management and demands strategic vision, customer understanding, technical insight, and strong execution skills.

As a Product/Project Manager – Supply Chain, you will report directly to our Director, Product Management, and will be responsible for leading key strategic partner projects in 2026 and beyond. You will work closely with our internal development team to help deliver successful, valuable capabilities that meet customer needs and drive product improvements accordingly, enhancing customer compatibility and use case effectiveness. Strong communication, data analysis, adaptability, leadership, and stakeholder alignment are a must.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own the end-to-end product development process that creates developer tools and user experiences that deliver results and add value for our customers
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders (Customer Success, Tech Support, Sales, etc.) to address customer needs and capability gaps
• Define and document product requirements and a product roadmap that exceeds customer expectations
• Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, and Sales on the delivery of product improvements to customers.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: 

• 7+ years of technology product/project management experience
• Subject matter expertise within the maritime supply chain
• Working knowledge in the global transportation of goods by sea, covering the entire flow of information, processes, and resources from origin to destination, either directly or through related technology roles
• Experience leading all elements of the product development lifecycle (i.e., product vision, go-to-market strategy, and driving requirements)
• Managed a product backlog for short-term and long-term features and have prioritized features based on customer/strategic requirements, while driving strategic business goals
• Deep customer empathy with a proven ability to use metrics/data to identify opportunities to improve products through research, customer interaction, and cross-functional stakeholder input
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to work across functions and support shared goals.
  

BONUS POINTS:

• Experience working with modern supply chain systems that increasingly use technology like AI to optimize these complex processes
• Background as a data scientist using programming and ML to find insights, build predictive models (forecasting, recommendations), and communicate findings to solve business problems
• Exposure to dual-use product development for both defense and commercial maritime applications
