Job Description
We are seeking a Product & Pricing Data Analyst to join our growing Product Management team. The Data Analyst is responsible for working across all functions of the organization to collect, organize, model, and present key performance metrics for our various product lines. This is a highly visible role working with senior leadership and will report into the Product Line Manager. You will be responsible for product data analytics’ needs across the organization and interpret the data to enable better business decision-making. If you are a self-starter, love autonomy and have a strong business acumen, you may be a good fit for this role. The person in this role will be responsible for:
- Working with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
- Mining and analyzing data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of production efficiency, product development, marketing techniques and business strategies
- Ensuring accuracy and cleanliness of data with great attention to detail
- Assessing the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques
- Developing custom data models and standardized dashboards to be used by Product, Leadership, and Operations teams
- Using predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, and improved decision-making
- Developing processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy
- Presenting data using visualizations, reports, and presentations to leadership
Qualifications
To perform your job as expected, you will be required to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or Statistics; internship experience in data analytics in an industrial environment will be considered
- Up to 5 years’ experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Knowledge and experience in organizing data effectively
- SAP experience or other ERP systems like Oracle preferred
- Dashboard software, Power BI, Tableau
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Macros, pivot tables
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills. Be able to articulate questions and answers in large datasets to all stakeholders and excel at making complex concepts simple and easy to understand
