Position Overview:

As a key support member of the Pilot Operations team, you will help plan, track, and execute our robotic go-to-market programs. Focusing on day-to-day project technical tasks, you will act as the essential bridge connecting our technical development (Engineering) with field execution (Operations). You will take ownership of foundational project tasks and assist senior team members in delivering cross-functional initiatives that improve our scale and efficiency. By organizing team communications and maintaining clear, up-to-date documentation, you will help ensure that both technical and operational leaders share a reliable, unified view of product performance and readiness to scale.


Essential Job Functions

  • Project Support: Assist in tracking project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure smooth handoffs between the Engineering and Operations teams.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a daily communication bridge between technical (Engineering) and non-technical (Operations/Sales) teams, ensuring everyone is on the same page and tasks keep moving forward.
  • Issue & Risk Tracking: Help spot potential roadblocks in technical deployments or operational rollouts, and flag them to senior managers to discuss solutions.
  • Requirements Alignment: Support the alignment of project tasks by ensuring Engineering understands operational needs, and Operations understands technical constraints.
  • Meeting Management: Schedule cross-functional syncs, take clear notes, and diligently track action items to completion.
  • Status Reporting & Translation: Help translate complex engineering updates into simple, clear status reports for Operations leadership.
  • Enablement & Training: Assist in creating lightweight "how-to" guides, training materials, and cheat sheets to help the Operations team adopt new engineering features and workflows.
  • Workflow Documentation: Support leadership by documenting current operational processes and helping identify where engineering automation can reduce manual admin work as the company scales.
  • Task Ownership: Take the lead on technical tasks, seeing them through from start to finish.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 1–2 years of professional experience in a project coordination, operations, or technical support role (relevant internship experience is welcome).
  • A strong interest in technology and a desire to bridge the gap between engineering development and day-to-day business operations.
  • Prior exposure to a software, hardware, or fast-paced tech environment is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a multiple internal and external stakeholder environment

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a Brain staff member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. Staff are exposed to the typical office environment with computers, printers and telephones.


Employees are exposed to the typical office environment with computers, printers and telephones but also expected to travel to customer locations which include retail stores and warehouses. The installation, setup and testing of our product occur during business off-hours. Therefore, when traveling to customer sites the employee can expect to be working four- or five-hour shifts either late in the evening (9 p.m. to 2 a.m.) or early in the morning (3 to 8 a.m.). Domestic travel up to 20% throughout North America is required.


Salary Range:

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in San Diego, California is $38.75/hr to $49.75/hr. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Brain Corp is a multi-state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
