About the Role

Transak requires a Product Partnerships Manager to own, deepen, and protect the existing product-level partner relationships that power our on/off-ramp infrastructure. The priority is relationship continuity, integration health, service quality, commercial performance, and partner confidence across Transak’s current partner base.

This role centers on partnerships that are already directly tied to our product surface: payment methods and rails, API integrations, banking and PSP relationships, liquidity providers, fraud/risk providers, and ecosystem integrations.

The person will manage strategic product partnerships across existing payments, crypto infrastructure, wallets, exchanges, fintechs, banks, PSPs, and ecosystem partners. They must be commercially sharp, technically fluent, operationally disciplined, and able to translate partner issues, capabilities, and roadmap opportunities into clear internal execution plans.

This role should not be treated as a generic business development or international expansion hire. It requires hands-on product partnership management: improving the quality of existing partner relationships, running structured account plans, managing escalations, driving integration and performance improvements, protecting revenue continuity, and identifying expansion opportunities within current relationships before sourcing new markets or new partners.

Key Responsibilities1. Product Partnership Management
  • Own day-to-day and senior-level relationships with key product partners globally, with emphasis on the Americas.
  • Manage partnerships tied directly to the product: payment rails, payment methods, APIs, banking integrations, wallets, exchanges, and infrastructure providers.
  • Maintain strong partner confidence through clear communication, responsiveness, and structured follow-through.
  • Build account plans for priority partners, including revenue opportunities, product dependencies, integration health, risks, and executive touchpoints.
  • Run regular partner business reviews tracking product performance: conversion, payment-method coverage, uptime, latency, support SLAs, issues, decisions, and next steps.
  • Escalate relationship and integration risks early and propose practical recovery plans.
2. Existing Partner Growth & Relationship Depth
  • Build structured account plans for priority existing partners, including relationship map, executive sponsor, commercial contribution, product dependencies, integration health, service issues, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Deepen senior and working-level relationships with current partners through regular business reviews, clear follow-through, and proactive communication.
  • Identify opportunities to expand value within existing relationships: additional payment methods, improved coverage, better conversion, higher approval rates, stronger SLAs, better partner tooling, and co-developed product improvements.
  • Maintain a clear view of each partner’s strategic importance, operational health, commercial performance, renewal or contract considerations, and unresolved blockers.
  • Coordinate internal action plans across Commercial, Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Finance to improve partner outcomes.
  • Treat new market or new partner expansion as secondary unless it directly supports an existing strategic relationship or protects a current revenue-critical capability.
3. Product & Integration Execution
  • Translate partner capabilities and asks into clear product requirements and integration plans.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering on integration priorities, roadmap dependencies, API specifications, and partner-facing timelines.
  • Track integration health post-launch: adoption, conversion, error rates, payment-method performance, and partner-reported issues.
  • Work with Operations, Risk, and Compliance to resolve partner product issues and improve service quality.
  • Keep internal stakeholders aligned through concise updates, decision logs, and action trackers.
  • Ensure partner commitments are realistic, documented, and owned.
4. Commercial Growth & Revenue Ownership
  • Identify growth opportunities with existing and new partners alongside the Revenue team (Sales and Customer Success).
  • Negotiate or support commercial discussions, including pricing, volume commitments, SLAs, integration priorities, and co-marketing opportunities.
  • Track partner performance, revenue impact, conversion, payment-method coverage, operational issues, and market-specific blockers.
  • Work with Finance to build evidence-based business cases for partner and market investments.
  • Balance growth ambition with risk, compliance, and operational readiness.
5. Partner Portfolio Management & Ecosystem Intelligence
  • Maintain a clear portfolio view of existing product partners across wallets, exchanges, fintechs, payment providers, banks, crypto infrastructure firms, risk providers, and local payment-method providers.
  • Segment partners by strategic value, revenue contribution, product dependency, integration complexity, operational risk, executive relationship strength, and growth potential.
  • Prioritize partner work by protecting revenue continuity, improving product performance, reducing operational friction, strengthening strategic relationships, and unlocking near-term value from existing integrations.
  • Represent Transak credibly in partner discussions, QBRs, escalation forums, renewal conversations, industry forums, and market-development conversations.
  • Identify competitive threats, market shifts, partner roadmap changes, and emerging partner needs that could affect existing relationships.
  • Feed partner intelligence into leadership planning, product strategy, commercial planning, and risk management.
Must-Haves
  • Mid-career experience: 5-10 years in product partnerships, strategic partnerships, business development, account management, or ecosystem development, with direct product integration ownership.
  • Direct experience in fintech, payments, crypto, wallets, exchanges, banking infrastructure, remittance, PSPs, or related financial services.
  • Hands-on experience with API-based partner integrations and product-dependent partner relationships.
  • Strong relationship management skills with senior external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex partner escalations and cross-functional execution.
  • Strong commercial judgement and comfort with revenue and partner-performance metrics.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: experience working across Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Finance.
  • Clear written communication and disciplined follow-through.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Existing network across fintech, crypto, payments, wallets, exchanges, PSPs, risk providers, or banking partners, particularly among Transak-relevant partner categories.
  • Experience growing, renewing, repairing, or scaling existing product partnerships across complex payment, banking, risk, or crypto infrastructure relationships.
  • Prior work at an on/off-ramp, crypto exchange, wallet, PSP, acquirer, fintech infrastructure company, neobank, or remittance company.
  • Experience negotiating commercial agreements, pricing, SLAs, or integration commitments.
  • Technical fluency: comfort reading API documentation and discussing integration architecture with Engineering.
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese language ability.
  • Experience with regulated financial services environments.
  • Comfort with data-driven account planning and partner performance reviews.
