Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated IT Warehouse Management System (WMS) Implementation Lead to join our Information Technology team.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise Warehouse Management System solutions, serving as a key liaison between warehouse operations, supply chain stakeholders, and Information Technology development teams.
You will collaborate with a dynamic, cross-functional team dedicated to translating warehouse and logistics processes into effective, scalable technology solutions that drive operational efficiency, system stability, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll DoIn this role, you will:
WMS Subject Matter Expertise: Provide functional and technical system guidance across inbound receiving, outbound fulfillment, inventory management, and internal warehouse movements.
Requirements Analysis & Solution Design: Translate evolving operational business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and technical specifications while recommending optimal system configurations.
System Integration & Collaboration: Partner with enterprise architects, development teams, and system integrators to align the Warehouse Management System platform with enterprise architecture standards and interconnected systems like Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
Implementation & Testing Coordination: Participate in the planning, execution, and validation of system rollouts, upgrades, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities within Agile delivery frameworks.
Process Optimization & Technical Support: Troubleshoot complex system issues affecting fulfillment operations and identify strategic opportunities to automate and improve warehouse productivity.
The ideal candidate will have:
10-12 years of experience supporting enterprise business systems in an Information Technology environment.
6-8 years of experience working with Warehouse Management Systems such as Manhattan, Blue Yonder, SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), or similar platforms, including direct experience with implementations, rollouts, or major upgrades.
Strong knowledge of system integration concepts, enterprise application environments, and Agile delivery frameworks or Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
Proven ability in functional analysis, solution design, technical documentation, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Business Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred: Exposure to large-scale supply chain modernization, warehouse automation technologies (such as robotics, conveyors, sortation, or Radio Frequency systems), and industry experience in logistics, distribution, or retail operations.
