Job SummaryThe Product Owner will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Design, and business stakeholders to translate strategy into clear, actionable user stories while maintaining a cohesive product vision. This role requires someone who is hands on using AI tools as part of their daily workflow—enhancing requirements creation, backlog refinement, stakeholder communication, prioritization, and release readiness. The ideal candidate acts as the voice of the customer, balancing business value, user needs, and technical feasibility to ensure the development team delivers maximum value every sprint.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, stakeholder needs, and technical dependencies
Actively leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to improve productivity and quality in User story creation and refinement, acceptance criteria and edge‑case discovery, release notes and stakeholder communications
Demonstrate comfort experimenting with AI‑assisted workflows and continuously improving how AI supports product delivery.
Collaborate with Product Management to align backlog priorities with the product roadmap and strategic objectives
Develop clear, detailed user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria using frameworks like INVEST
Define sprint goals and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Serve as the primary point of contact for the development team regarding requirements clarification and priority decisions
Engage with stakeholders and end-users to gather feedback and validate solutions
Facilitate backlog refinement sessions to ensure stories are ready for upcoming sprints
Provide Product Owner sign-off on completed work and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders for all releases containing user-impacting capabilities
Prepare release communications including detailed release notes and conduct release demos to showcase upcoming features and functionality
Agile/Scrum Expertise: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and Product Owner responsibilities
User Story Development: Ability to write clear, testable user stories with acceptance criteria using INVEST principles
Critical Thinking: Creative and critical thinking skills to address complex challenges and remove impediments
Prompt Engineering & AI Tool Proficiency: Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) to enhance productivity in requirements documentation, user story creation, and stakeholder communications, release notes etc.
Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to use metrics, analytics, and user feedback to inform prioritization and measure success
Education & Years of Experience
Bachelor's Degree plus 2-5 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 6-9 years of work experience in healthcare or language services
Experience in AI‑enabled environment and demonstrates strong product thinking is required
Experience with API integrations and third-party platform connectivity
Experience in healthcare domain (Preferred)
Experience in successfully launching user-facing features and capabilities
Certifications
Certified Product Owner (Preferred)

Pay Rate$90,000 - $107,000 SalaryFinal pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
