Job Summary
As a Product Owner, you will play a key role within the Product & Technology organisation, supporting the Principal Product Owner to define, validate and communicate product development requirements for multiple products and platforms. Grounded in a deep understanding of business needs, user pain points, and the Ethixbase360 solution ecosystem, you will help translate problems into clear, actionable requirements that drive value for clients and internal stakeholders. Working in an agile environment, you will partner closely with Product Managers, UI/UX, Development, AI & Data, Client Success, Support and other cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of high-quality, impactful product enhancements.
What you will do
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
• Work closely with the Principal Product Owner to gather, document, and validate business and user requirements, ensuring clarity, completeness and alignment with the wider product strategy.
• Support creation of epics, user stories, acceptance criteria and supporting documentation for engineering teams.
Agile Product Development
• Participate in agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Assist in backlog grooming by organising, refining and maintaining requirement artefacts in line with product roadmap priorities.

Engagement
• Partner with Client Success, Solutions, Sales, and SMEs to collect feedback, validate requirements and understand client impacts.
• Ensure requirement traceability from discovery through delivery and release, providing clear communication throughout the process.
• Support internal teams with pre-release and post-release enablement (e.g., release notes, FAQs, walkthroughs).
User-Centric Problem Solving
• Analyse workflows and user journeys across the Ethixbase360 ecosystem to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Assist in usability testing and validation of delivered features to confirm alignment with business and user needs.
Documentation & Quality
• Produce clear, structured documentation including requirement specifications, diagrams, workflows and product notes.
• Support quality assurance by reviewing test cases and validating functionality during UAT.
• Support release notes and user documentation to ensure end users get the most out of their experience with easy to understand reference material.
Who you are
• Be a holder of valid documents with permission to work in Malaysia
• Business level (C1/C2) English, spoken and written
• Analytical and detail‑oriented — able to break down complex problems and translate them into structured requirements.
• User‑focused — passionate about understanding user needs and advocating for solutions that meaningfully improve user experience.
• Collaborative — comfortable working across functions and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Curious and proactive — eager to learn about product and feature capabilities, market trends, and client challenges.
• Comfortable in agile environments — familiar with agile principles and willing to iterate quickly with engineering teams.
• Strong communicator — capable of producing clear documentation and confidently articulating requirements.
• Organised and structured — able to manage multiple priorities, maintain tidy backlogs and provide consistent follow‑through.
• Have 4-6 years’ experience working in a BA/PO or equivalent function within a agile, ideally SaaS environment.
• A background knowledge in compliance, due diligence or a related field would be well regarded.
Salary Range: MYR84,000 - MYR96,000 per annum - depending on experience and qualification.

This role sits within the Product Team, reporting directly to the Principal Product Owner who is UK based. The role will work alongside cross-functional teams based across the Philippines, Malaysia, United Kingdom, Singapore, United States and other locations.
