Position Overview:
The Product Owner is responsible for developing high-level business strategy, coordinating business architecture, and providing an assessment of new business opportunities. The position requires excellent facilitation and cross-functional stakeholder management. You will be expected to provide resolutions to an extensive range of complicated problems. The solutions are innovative, thorough, and practical. The position requires interaction with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters frequently requiring coordination across organizational lines.
The work is challenging, complex, and strategic. The position requires a seasoned professional who can leverage their expertise to define solutions for large scale industry challenges.
Responsibilities Include:
Strategic Solution Design -
Work closely with Subject Matter Experts and interested parties on both the business and IT side to establish the Vision and Roadmap for business objectives
Work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends
Gather and document business requirements
Work under limited direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions
Organizational Process and Leadership -
Ability to write and present a business case
Represent the organization as the principal customer contact and often perform a project leadership role.
Work is evaluated upon completion for satisfying objectives
Work collaboratively with project stakeholders within the division and across the enterprise to facilitate change management, maintain high levels of engagement, and adherence to deadlines
Best Practice Research and Emerging Technology -
Determine how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes.
Research best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data
Qualifications:
Typically has a minimum of 8 years related experience
College degree required in a relevant field (ex. Finance, IT, business, Information Systems)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience running projects
Mortgage industry experience is a plus
Leadership experience is a plus
Ability to work with and collaborate across the team and where silos exist

A problem-solving mentality – comfortable working through challenges to define business solutions

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $138,000 - $206,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program.
