Introduction to the job
The Release and Deliver domain is part of IT R&D Solution Delivery department which, in turn, belongs to ASML IT. The purpose of the Release & Deliver domain is to deliver state-of-the-art tooling enabling seamless creation of releases and Software packages for ASML TWINSCAN and EUV Source products. Release & and Deliver domain brings value by defining SW integration, release and delivery processes related to software and documentation packages creation; creating tooling to implement and automate those release processes while improving cycle times for the ASML software community
The Release and Delivery domain is managed by a domain owner; the overall architecture is driven by the domain architect in collaboration with the team architects of the teams in the domain. The teams include junior and senior engineers as well as technical specialists. As a product owner (PO) you'll support two teams in the domain and the Agile release train (ART) to which these teams contribute to
Role and responsibilities
You'll be working in close collaboration with the chief product owner (CPO) of the ART, internal customers and two teams in the Release and Deliver domain. You will be reporting directly to the domain owner. As a Product Owner you'll:

Define team level Vision and Product Roadmap and contribute to the train level Vision and Product Roadmap together with CPO and architects

Prepare Program Increments (PIs) by aligning, refining and (re) prioritizing the team backlog to match roadmaps (including enablers, technical debt and issues), train backlog and/or the project plan

Ensure creation of bottom-up long-term team plan, aligned with key stakeholders (e.g., project leads, architects, and CPO)

Define iteration goals based on PI objectives, accept team deliverables and actively communicates them to stakeholders

Align impact of changed PI objectives with the team, scrum master and other PO's / team leads (TL) to secure Train/ product deliverables

Take ownership and connect with other POs / TL's and CPO in the Train to discuss and align on planning dependencies and directs/receives work to/from other Teams if required

Enables a High Performing Team; Contributes where possible to the Community of Practice
Education and experience
To help us tackle the technical challenges we face, you’ll need experience working on HighTech products and with complex processes. As a Product Owner, you’ll need:

Master’s or bachelor's degree preferably in Software Engineering

At 5+ years proven experience working as a Product Owner in a highly complex technical and corporate environment

Proven record of Leadership / Managerial Skills within an Agile environment is preferable
-
Strong communication skills and have the ability to empathize with the customer. In addition, it is important to show ownership and entrepreneurship

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
