Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing multiple small scrum teams and projects.
- Gathering software requirements from the various stakeholders and gives it to the development team and help clarify in case of any queries from developers
- Own project deliverables with right quality, execution/monitoring working with cross functional teams
- Work with various stakeholders for resource commitments & lead the teams for quality & timely deliverables.
- Ensure features and user stories are clear, concise, prioritized, and understood by every member of the agile team.
- Establish and maintain open and clear lines of team communication to facilitate status transparency
- Support teams in project planning by defining and estimating work including defining of tasks, stories.
- Removing impediments for the team with tenacity and urgency.
- Encourages collaboration between teams, Analysts, Architects and Business users.
- Work with program/ project managers for the overall project/program success.
- Work with leadership team to contribute to organizational initiatives as and when needed.
- Other related duties assigned as needed
Skills, Experience and Requirements
- Engineering degree with 8-10 years of work experience
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience as a Product Owner in Charging & Billing area of telecom BSS domain.
- Should have minimum of 1 or 2 years of experience as a scrum master as well
- Strong knowledge of application development life cycle.
- Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Candidate should be self-starter and ready to take up additional tasks as and when needed.
- Should be able to identify what needs to be done and take initiatives without hand-holding
- Working knowledge of program/project management software (MS Project, Rally, Jira, Confluence etc.) is a strong advantage
