Product Owner

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Agile Product Owner/Delivery Manager to lead our development team and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

As an Agile Product Owner/Delivery Manager at ProArch you will play a critical role in overseeing the conceptualisation, design and development process ensuring the successful delivery of Azure-based applications and services for our USA clients. You will be responsible for providing expert guidance to customers, managing the development team, and actively participating in agile software development activities. You will lead one or more projects and be part of the practice leadership team.

Product Ownership:

• Act as the primary point of contact between the client and the development team, facilitating transparent and effective communication.
• Analyse and understand client business problems and propose solutions.
• Define and prioritize the product backlog based on client requirements, market needs, and business goals.
• Monitoring, manage project budgets and forecasts
• Ensure that project objectives are clearly articulated and understood by the team and the client.
• Run workshops and illicit requirements from customers.
• Build and foster exceptional customer relationships.

Agile Project Management:

• Lead and coach agile teams, providing clear direction and removing impediments to ensure the on-time and high-quality delivery of software solutions.
• Utilize Azure DevOps or other project management tools to meticulously track progress, manage tasks, and uphold project timelines.
• Conduct sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings to foster continuous improvement and collaboration within the team.
• Manage costs and timelines according to project statements of work.

Technical Expertise:

• Harness your in-depth knowledge of Azure technologies and best practices to deliver technical guidance, architecture decisions, and recommendations to the development team and clients.
• Make informed and data-driven decisions regarding technology stacks, architecture, and development strategies.

Client Engagement:

• Cultivate strong and enduring client relationships through regular updates on project progress, resolving issues, and delivering exceptional service.
• Collaborate with clients to comprehensively understand, document, and refine project requirements to meet or exceed client expectations.

Risk Management:

• Proactively identify, evaluate, and proactively mitigate project risks, taking necessary steps to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
• Actively manage issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and inspire a diverse team of skill software engineers, fostering their professional development and growth.
• Instil a collaborative and agile-centric culture within the team, driving efficiency and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional conversational English.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed technical decisions.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience in Azure-based application development and delivery.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, especially for client interactions.
• Minimum four plus years’ experience managing remote or distributed teams.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps and other project management tools.
• Outstanding leadership and teamwork skills.
