Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS) is the group responsible for leading Ericsson’s Enterprise Networking and Security business. How Will You Contribute to the Company?

Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions is looking to expand its private cellular network (PCN) organization with an organized and proactive product owner. PCNs are increasingly being deployed by enterprises to address use cases where Wi-Fi is technically limiting due to lack of range, reliability, and mobility and where public cellular networks are not meeting customers' needs with coverage, control, or cost. Along with worldwide interest in 5G, countries have been unlocking industry spectrum for enterprises, making private networks accessible and affordable. Our enterprise PCN solution portfolio is well-matched to these customer interests.

The PCN Product Owner will work cross-functionally (Product Management, R&D, Operations, Sales/Marketing) to shepherd product initiatives and features by coordinating deliverables across teams. This role has high visibility as a part of an emerging technology space; it requires a dynamic and proactive person to help understand customer needs and steer internal processes and execution to meet those needs.

What Will You Do?

  • Embed with engineering teams to guide PCN deliverables

  • Represent the voice of the customer; distill product requirements into actionable user stories

  • Work closely with Product Management & Engineering to create and maintain team backlog, articulating business value and ensuring it aligns with the team’s charter 

  • Represent organizational priorities into engineering teams by articulating priorities and maintaining backlogs ready for execution 

  • Actively participate in sprint meetings to keep the team aligned on priorities and scope

  • Embrace uncertainty, be flexible and prepare for the fact that requirements will change with time, and plan how to adapt to the changes without breaking the team’s execution cadence 

  • Become a subject matter expert in the initiative’s value, use cases, and related customer problem

  • Build and maintain a relationship with stakeholders 

  • Train Support, Sales, and Marketing on features and initiatives

  • Provide market content input and schedule details for a feature launch

  • Drive initiative requirements and organization while maintaining sanity amongst cross-functional teams

  • Help the team convert strategic feature ideas into designs, executable stories, and release plans

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, track status, and interject as needed to keep teams on track

  • Reduce the tactical noise for product managers, architects, and delivery teams by overseeing agile processes and ceremonies

  • Support team cohesion and focus with clear communication and process excellence

  • Ensure that we continue to deliver the best products to customers and partners without delays

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Three (3+) years of Product Manager, Product Owner, Program Manager, or R&D experience delivering cloud-based or networking software solutions in an agile development environment

  • Strong ability to understand both technical details and practical business use of applications

  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and thought leadership, as well as the ability to lead initiatives through implementation; including the ability to translate requirements into user stories and manage multiple priorities

  • Knowledge and firsthand experience working with Jira/Confluence

  • Critical thinking skills to make intelligent and defendable decisions in a fast-paced environment

  • Disorganization and lack of process drives you nuts (but you’re also flexible and dynamic)

  • Fast executor, self-starter, eager to learn

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Experience with networking, Wi-Fi, 5G/LTE, wireless WAN, route/switch, or SaaS

At Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions, we know that our people are the key to our success. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package to help with your individual needs and goals.  

 

Your Pay: 

The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

  

$82,600.00 - $153,400.00

Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. This variable pay opportunity is dependent upon the attainment of agreed to goals and objectives as determined by our Senior Leadership team. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

For California employees, we offer a subsidized HMO option through Kaiser. Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions also offers subsidized dental and vision coverage.

Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions invests in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. Our 401(k) plan has a 4% company match and immediate vesting. Employees will also receive company-paid employee basic life and AD&D insurance and company-paid disability benefits. 

 

Your Time: 

Your work-life balance is important to us. Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions provides generous paid time off, including: 15 days of Flexible Time Off (FTO), four paid quarterly well-being days, and 11 paid annual holidays (includes nine company holidays and up to two floating holidays). Please note that an employees FTO balance and floating holidays may be prorated in the first year, based on start date. We also offer paid maternity-leave benefits and six weeks 100% paid family leave for all employees.
