Product Owner

The role will support the growth and success of Dynapower's portfolio of advanced power conversion solutions by coordinating product development, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain activities throughout the product lifecycle.
This role focuses on driving execution, managing priorities, supporting new product introductions and product improvements, and ensuring products remain competitive, compliant, and manufacturable.
Success requires strong cross-functional collaboration, sound judgment, and the ability to move initiatives from concept to implementation.

Job Description

General Responsibilities
• Collaborates with all of the engineering functions in regards to a product or a product family from the initial design through production and transfer
• Key participant in other engineering functions including design, process, production, quality, and reliability
• Collaborates on audits of production methods to ensure time and cost goals are reached
• Organizes the introduction and production support engineering for a specific product or group of products after transfer from design to in-house or outsourced production
• Key participant in the design, process, test, reliability and manufacturing engineering of the product, in order to to solve product issues and production problems
Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers

Additional Responsibilities

• Define and maintain product development roadmaps

• Work cross functionally to drive successful product development and product launches

• Train the sales team on product features and provide appropriate reference and marketing documentation

• Act as an internal Subject Matter Expert for your products

• Refine product positioning to maximize product value and maintain market relevance

• Maintain continued compliance with relevant codes and standards for existing and new target markets.

• Manage component obsolescence and supply-chain diversification

• Support Operations team in scaling and diversifying manufacturing capabilities

• Support Quality team in validating supply chain and external partners. Collaborate to identify and promptly address any quality issues that may arise

• Create and manage flexible product configurations with internal and external manufacturing resources.

• Coordinate with network of Contract Manufacturers to ensure product updates and improvements are successfully implemented.

Base Salary Range:

$92,800.00 - $127,600.00
