Product Owner (Web channels)

Payme, a leading company in Uzbekistan's fintech industry, attracts over 11,6 million users with its convenient and efficient payment solutions. Since its establishment in 2012 and the launch of its main product – a mobile application in 2016, Payme continues to streamline financial transactions for its clients. In April 2019, TBC acquired a 51% stake in Payme for $5.5 million, valuing the company at $10.8 million. In May 2023, TBC Group Uzbekistan purchased the remaining 49% of Payme's shares, valued at $113.6 million, affirming its leadership in the region's fintech industry.

We are looking for talented individuals with Product Owner (Web channels) experience to join our team

Primary Focus: 

• Drive delivery of web pages from idea to production across multiple parallel streams
• Work in an environment with different timelines and priorities: balancing fast launches, ongoing improvements and urgent fixes
• Navigate a constantly evolving ecosystem of changes (Business Lines, product, marketing, technical dependencies) and keep delivery stable
• Translate business and product needs into clear tasks for developers (user stories, specs, acceptance criteria)
• Manage backlog in Jira, prioritize tasks, and ensure predictable delivery cycles
• Coordinate releases with DevOps and ensure readiness across environments
• Ensure consistency and quality across devices and pages
• Work with CMS (Strapi) to manage content structure, page logic, and updates

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Product Owner, Project Manager in Tech teams or similar roles
• Strong execution mindset: ability to move fast and keep things under control
• Ability to operate in multi-tasking, fast-changing environments with different deadlines
• Understanding of how web products work (frontend logic, APIs, CMS)
• Experience working with technical teams (frontend, backend, DevOps)
• Ability to decompose tasks clearly and without ambiguity
• Strong communication skills: able to align product, marketing, and engineering
• English and Russian working proficience

Nice to have
• Experience with Strapi or similar CMS
• Experience with GA4, Amplitude, or other analytics tools
• Background in development or system analysis
