Help shape integration standards for more than 49,000 colleagues worldwide. Drive adoption, alignment, and governance across Rabobank’s integration landscape while balancing compliance, usability, and innovation.

Define, prioritise, and promote integration standards and governance across Rabobank. As Product Owner Standards & Governance, you lead the roadmap and backlog, align stakeholders, and ensure standards are practical, discoverable, and widely adopted. Working closely with engineers, architects, security, and platform teams, you help create secure, scalable, and consistent integration solutions.

• Increasing the adoption of integration standards by improving accessibility, usability, and developer guidance.

• Collaborating with Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Risk to prioritise platform capabilities that support governance objectives.

• Defining governance guardrails that enable innovation while ensuring security, compliance, and consistency across engineering teams.

• 36 hours per week

• Own the vision and priorities: define and prioritise the roadmap and backlog for Standards & Governance, balancing business value, risk, compliance requirements, and developer experience.

• Support adoption and usability: enable engineering teams to successfully apply standards in practice by understanding challenges, removing friction, and continuously improving usability.

• Connect stakeholders and platforms: bring together Enterprise Architecture, Security, IT Risk, API Management, and engineering teams to drive alignment, shared ownership, and successful outcomes.

The team within Area Engineering Services, Sub-Area Integration is responsible for defining, promoting, and supporting integration standards across the bank. Working together is the way we work; as one technical team at Rabobank.

• Experience as a Product Owner (3–5 years) or in a similar product role within a technical environment.

• Experience leading organisational change and driving adoption of standards, platforms, or ways of working in large enterprises.

• Experience working in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Middleware, Infrastructure, banking, or other highly regulated environments.

• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

• Excellent communication and storytelling capabilities.

• Ability to balance governance, usability, business value, and platform capabilities.

• Eligible to work in the Netherlands.

• Experience designing or working with standards and governance frameworks.

• A software engineering or technical delivery background.

• Knowledge of integration patterns such as API Management and Event Streaming.

• Experience improving adoption and developer experience for platforms or standards.
