Are you ready to shape the future of engineering simulation? We are looking for a Product Owner to lead the vision, roadmap, lifecycle, and development of KONE’s Simulation Platform. You will connect engineering, simulation experts, IT, vendors, and development teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and valuable simulation capabilities.
This role combines product leadership, simulation-domain understanding, and technical judgement. Your scope includes roadmap planning, platform performance, simulation data, integrations, licenses, releases, support, adoption, and continuous improvement.
What You Will Do
-Own and communicate the platform vision, roadmap, backlog, and lifecycle plan
-Prioritize demand based on business value, user impact, cost, risk, dependencies, and feasibility
-Translate user and stakeholder needs into clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and release goals
-Guide work from discovery through validation, release, adoption, and continuous improvement
-Oversee platform performance, integrations, upgrades, support, security, compliance, and technical debt
-Govern simulation data, licenses, access rights, vendor services, capacity, and spend
-Align engineering, simulation, IT, architecture, vendor, and business stakeholders on decisions and trade-offs
-Develop the key-user network and improve feedback, communication, guidance, training, and support
What You Bring
We are looking for a collaborative, outcome-oriented product professional who brings:
-Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience
-4–6 years of relevant experience in product ownership, product management, development, or lifecycle management of simulation platforms, engineering applications, or comparable technical services
-Practical understanding of engineering simulation workflows and digital simulation environments (e.g. digital twin, HIL, structural or system simulations)
-Ability to define a vision and roadmap, manage a backlog, prioritize competing needs, and guide delivery from discovery through adoption
Experience translating complex business and engineering needs into clear, testable -requirements
-Experience managing technical platforms, including integrations, releases, support, risk, and continuous improvement
-Strong stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and structured problem-solving skills
-Ability to coordinate delivery across virtual and multicultural teams
-Fluent written and spoken English

-Experience with C#, .NET, SQL, APIs, scripting, automation, or simulation-data management
