Product Owner, Scrum Master - Miami, FL (Hybrid)

In this role you will join the Global Digital Bank team and act as a Product Owner for a highly motivated and delivery-focused Scrum team. You will focus on run-the-business scrum initiatives for best-in-class banking solutions, while managing the intake and sprints within technical engineering teams.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead in-house teams and act as an Agile Product Owner/Scrum Master for our run-the-business team.

  • Define and prioritize user stories, plan sprints, groom backlogs, and participate in daily scrum ceremonies.

  • Provide product guidance to development and testing teams through the delivery lifecycle, and assist to resolve roadblocks.

  • Communicate with stakeholders and users on requirement refinement.

  • Highly adaptable to changing priorities and able to communicate to the scrum team.

  • Direct people management is not required, however as a Product Owner you will need to provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams.

  • Collaborate with Project Managers, UI/UX Developers, Integration teams, Engineering Leads, and the Business Product team on new work intake; plan future team roadmaps.

  • Provide ongoing analysis on product effectiveness using a data-driven approach.

Role Requirements

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master in Financial Services, working with digital payments and banking technology.

  • Technical product or IT background, with experience in working with web development, POS or payment applications, or digital banking technology. Additional testing experience preferable.

  • PO/PM certification or equivalent relevant experience preferable.

  • Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), and experience with SAFe framework. Experience working with JIRA and Confluence is preferred.

  • Experience planning, coordinating, and managing the execution for Agile Scrum teams, including all agile ceremonies.

  • Get things done attitude; with self-motivated, with the ability to “roll-up sleeves” and prioritize critical deadlines.

  • Ability to break down complex experiences into simple documents, stories, and flows.

  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders/teams in different countries with different cultural backgrounds, and ability to lead and clearly communicate direction, goals, and desired results.

Salary

The base salary range is $100,000 - $130,000 USD per year. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
