Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and talented Product Owner to join our team. As an Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of our web-based software products tailored for employee benefits consultants and employers in the health insurance domain. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and customer support to drive the product roadmap and deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Development: Work closely with the engineering team to write user stories, refine them, and ensure alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.

2. Production Support: Take ownership of production support, including writing bugs with clear steps to reproduce, tracking them through resolution, and ensuring timely fixes.

3. Roadmap Management: Assist in maintaining and communicating the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure successful product delivery

5. Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to define acceptance criteria, conduct testing, and ensure the quality of product releases.

6. Dashboard Creation: Assist in mocking up and developing dashboard components using Domo.

7. Analytics and Performance Monitoring: Utilize tools such as Amplitude to monitor key performance metrics, conduct data analysis, and derive actionable insights to optimize product performance and user satisfaction.

8. Documentation: Create and maintain product documentation, including user guides, release notes, and training materials.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams remotely.
  • 1-2 years of experience in product management, software development, or related roles within the health insurance or employee benefits industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Domain knowledge of health insurance and employee benefits brokerage and consulting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira.
  • Experience with SaaS tools such as Salesforce, Domo, MS Dynamics 365.
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry standards and regulations is a plus.

Base Pay Range: $90,000-$100,000

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company's performance.
