Interwell Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Owner to join our Platform Solutions Team. As a Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and enhancement of data solutions, including master data management and data integration. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, define product features, and ensure the successful delivery of capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Healthcare data structures including claims data, EHR data, HIE data, including HL7 FHIR and operational healthcare data. This role requires a strong understanding of Data Lake houses and Enterprise Data Warehouses. This role also requires a deep understanding of healthcare data integration solutions, healthcare technology solutions and a general understanding of value-based healthcare.

The work you will do: 

  • Collaborate with product managers to communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with the overall business objectives. 
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement. 
  • Work closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to prioritize and define features. 
  • Foster a collaborative environment to ensure effective communication and understanding of product goals. 
  • Clearly articulate product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. 
  • Prioritize features based on business value, technical feasibility, and customer impact. 
  • Collaborate with product managers to develop and maintain a product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals. 
  • Collaborate with the development team to plan and execute product releases on time and within scope. 
  • Advocate for a seamless and user-friendly experience in collaboration with UX/UI designers. 
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality products through effective testing and validation processes. 
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders and end-users to drive continuous improvement. 
  • Iterate on product features based on feedback and evolving business needs. 
  • Identify and address potential risks and challenges that may impact product delivery. 
  • Work proactively to mitigate risks and find optimal solutions.  
  • Collaborate with data analysts to incorporate insights into the product development process. 

What you’ll need:  

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree is a plus. 
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in a platform solutions or similar role. 
  • Knowledge in healthcare data, including but not limited to patient and provider domains. 
  • Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) 
  • Strong understanding data warehousing and data lake technologies and principles.
  • Strong understanding Claims data
  • Strong understanding HL7 and FHIR
  • Experience with Azure and Databricks is a plus.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 
  • Agile/Scrum certification is desirable.
