Are you an experienced Product Owner or Product Manager who loves the pace of global startups and is looking for your next challenge or opportunity?

We’re looking for a passionate individual to join our Canadian Product Team as a Product Owner. You will help drive the evolution of our payments systems that move money through our platform securely, reliably and at scale. You will guide a payments-focused squad through the development of complex features, work with others to prioritize the right things, and ensure we are shipping high-quality products that delight our users. You will work closely with a team of engineers, designers, and marketers, as well as customers, to define, build, and deliver mission-critical initiatives.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the delivery of payment capabilities such as real-time rails, embedded finance flows, automated reconciliation and payout systems for payroll and pensions/super globally.
  • Shape product requirements and technical specifications using AI tools (eg ChatGPT, v0.dev).
  • Work closely with Engineering, Compliance, and Finance to ensure delivery is secure, scalable and compliant.
  • Prioritise user stories and outcomes based on customer needs, business goals and risk/compliance input.
  • Drive discovery work around new payment features and market expansion opportunities.
  • Partner with designers to prototype and test payment UIs (even hands-on with AI tools where needed).
  • Support smooth launches and feedback loops with CX, Legal, and external partners.
Must haves:
  • 2+ years in product management or product ownership, with deep involvement in payments, fintech or banking environments
  • Hands-on experience building payments systems, APIs or transaction flows (not just integrating third-party tools)
  • Comfort navigating regulatory and compliance considerations (eg KYC/KYB, transaction monitoring)
  • Proficiency with AI-first tooling (ChatGPT, v0.dev or equivalents)
  • Strong backlog and delivery discipline in agile/squad models
  • Analytical mindset - comfortable with payment metrics, failure rates, and reconciliation logic
  • Excellent communication skills, able to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike
Nice to haves:
  • Exposure to NPP, open banking, or embedded finance concepts
  • Startup experience or background in scaling fintech products from 0 -> 1
  • Experience working across cross-border or multi-currency payment flows
