The Role
As a Product Owner at Kaizen Gaming, you’ll be part of an Agile development team, turning vision into action and ideas into features. You’ll lead one of our cross-functional teams and take ownership of the rewards and communications internal in-house platform products, ensuring alignment across multiple international markets and incorporating CRM needs into scalable, innovative solutions.
In the iGaming industry, effectively rewarding and communicating with customers is essential—and this role puts you right at the heart of it. You’ll collaborate closely with Tech, CRM, and Business stakeholders to deliver high-impact features and help us engage millions of users across multiple brands and countries.
As a Product Owner, you will:
- Own and drive the vision for one Scrum team as the Product Owner;
- Define and maintain the product roadmap and backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals;
- Collaborate closely with CRM teams and market leads to gather requirements and prioritize value delivery;
- Create clear, actionable epics and user stories that guide the team’s development efforts;
- Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and product release activities;
- Ensure successful delivery of new features, setting clear expectations and timelines;
- Identify and help remove impediments that affect sprint/release outcomes;
- Champion Agile/Scrum best practices within the team and the broader organization;
- Work closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to optimize ROI and deliver meaningful customer experiences;
- Stay up to date on industry trends and customer needs, acting as the voice of the user within the team.
What you'll bring:
- At least 2 years of working experience as a Product Owner in a technological environment;
- Solid understanding of Agile principles and practices;
- Proven ability to define business requirements, identify challenges, and propose technical and operational solutions;;
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across technology and business teams;
- Familiarity with online sports betting and casino products is an asset;
- Good understanding of technology, programming languages and software architecture is considered a plus.
