The Role

Transform Your Career

We deliver unparalleled opportunities for growth and career advancement. Our dynamic, entrepreneurial culture supports your journey every step of the way.

Embrace new challenges and deliver real value to some of the world’s most influential Fortune 100 brands, growth companies transforming their industries, and mid-market firms that need help navigating the defining moments of their lifecycle. Work side by side with business leaders to solve complex client challenges and make a true impact. Love what you do as part of a diverse organization committed to collaboration and continuous learning.

The Team – Strategy & Transformation

Join a team of experienced professionals who combine financial, operational, and technical expertise to help financial institutions and corporate finance organizations transform how they work. We guide clients through major transactions (M&A, carve outs, IPOs), new system implementations, and large-scale digital initiatives—delivering solutions that improve operational accounting, financial process efficiency, and technology enablement.

Your Impact

As a Product Owner focused on financial services, you will be at the center of delivery—directing and delivering the daily activities of an agile engineering pod and ensuring the success of the key products that power clients’ finance organizations.

You will:

  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to translate financial process or regulatory requirements into actionable technical solutions.
  • Facilitate daily engineering pod activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
  • Write, review, and accept user stories, ensuring requirements are clear, testable, and aligned to business outcomes and compliance needs.
  • Collaborate with the Testing Management Office (TMO) to coordinate test data setup, ensure test coverage, and validate that user acceptance criteria are met.
  • Lead defect remediation—working with engineers, end users, and the TMO to triage, prioritize, and resolve defects efficiently.
  • Plan and prioritize next-quarter technical builds, balancing resiliency and infrastructure needs with user-driven feature enhancements.
  • Manage competing priorities and drive trade-off discussions to maintain delivery velocity and product quality.
  • Track and report progress against sprint goals, KPIs, and release timelines.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members to ensure adherence to agile best practices and delivery excellence.

Your Experience

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years as a Product Owner or Product Manager in an agile software delivery environment.
  • 5+ years of client-facing experience in professional services and/or the financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating daily agile ceremonies and managing engineering teams.
  • Proven ability to author and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and defect workflows using tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience coordinating with testing functions (QA/TMO) and supporting UAT cycles.
  • Exposure to finance or accounting systems (Close & Consolidation, FP&A, Treasury, Order to Cash).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven prioritization decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Business or Technology.
  • Relevant Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).
  • Experience with financial data systems, regulatory requirements, and control frameworks (SOX, GAAP, IFRS).
  • Understanding of cloud-based financial applications and APIs.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies in financial services (AI, machine learning, intelligent automation).
  • CPA or CFA designation is a plus.
