The Role
Description

Come Make an Impact on Millions of Brazilians!

At RecargaPay, we’re on a mission to deliver the best payment experience for Brazilian consumers and small businesses — by building a powerful digital ecosystem where the banked and unbanked connect, and where consumers and merchants have a one-stop shop for all their financial needs.

We serve over 10 million users and process more than USD 4 billion annually. We’ve been profitable since 2022 and operate our own credit business. We are an AI-first, 100% remote team, scaling in the rapidly changing Brazilian financial market.

Our goal? Deliver the best payment experience in Brazil for people and small businesses alike.

We value autonomy, ownership, and a bias for action. We’re looking for people who are curious, hands-on, and driven by impact — who want to solve real problems, work with strong teams, and rethink what’s possible.

If you’re ready to do your best work, at scale, with purpose — this is your place.

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Product Owner to join the Lending Squad at RecargaPay. In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle of loan products - defining the vision, shaping the roadmap, and leading cross-functional execution. You’ll partner with engineering, design and credit teams to deliver lending experiences that drive growth, improve user engagement, and enhance financial inclusion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Product Vision & Roadmap: Define and articulate a clear vision and strategy for loan products based on market needs, user feedback, and business objectives. Transform this vision into a structured roadmap with clear priorities and milestones.
  • Define & Deliver Product Requirements: Translate user problems and business goals into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Ensure features are well-scoped, deliverable, and aligned with stakeholder expectations
  • Drive Agile Product Development: Own the product backlog and lead ceremonies including sprint planning and backlog grooming. Set sprint goals and ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineering to deliver technically sound solutions, with design to ensure great user experience, and with credit team to align product outcomes with portfolio strategies and profitability.
  • Optimize User Experience: Champion the voice of the customer by integrating feedback, conducting usability assessments, and collaborating on product discovery efforts. Prioritize features that enhance user trust, engagement, and repayment behavior.
  • Monitor Product Performance & Impact: Define and track product success metrics. Partner with analytics and business teams to assess feature adoption, user behavior, and portfolio impact. Use insights to refine the roadmap and inform future decisions.

Own Go-To-Market & Launch Plans: Coordinate product releases in alignment with internal stakeholders. Ensure clear communication, training materials, and support for successful product launches.

Requirements
  • Proven Product Experience: 2+ years as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally in fintech, lending, or financial services.
  • Agile Delivery Leadership: Strong experience leading Agile squads, managing backlogs, and delivering digital products in iterative cycles.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Passion for solving real user problems with thoughtful, intuitive product solutions.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to prioritize initiatives based on user value, technical feasibility, and business impact.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to align stakeholders across engineering, design, credit, and operations.
  • Business Awareness: Understanding of credit products, loan lifecycle, and financial KPIs such as default rates, cost of acquisition, and portfolio health.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Design, or related fields.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Fintech or Credit Experience: Familiarity with consumer credit products, risk models, or digital lending operations.
  • UX & Design Partnership: Experience collaborating closely with design teams on user research, wireframes, and product discovery.
  • Experimentation Culture: Exposure to A/B testing, hypothesis-driven development, and iterative innovation.
  • Technical Fluency: Ability to understand technical architecture and evaluate trade-offs in backend/frontend development.
  • Process Optimization: Experience improving product delivery workflows, QA practices, and post-launch operations.
Benefits
  • Competitive and market-aligned salary.
  • Remote work — wherever you are, you’re part of the team!
  • Home office allowance through a monthly deposit in the RecargaPay app.
  • Health and dental plans with no co-pay.
  • Life insurance.
  • Flexible meal allowance (via Flash).
  • TotalPass membership to take care of your health.
