Let's start with the role:
The Product Owner will be responsible for defining the vision and strategy for our analytics and data product solutions.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog while ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality data products. The role is pivotal in shaping the direction of our data products to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders. You will also ensure alignment with the data governance framework, maintaining data quality, compliance, and proper stewardship throughout the product life cycle.
As a Product Owner you will:
- Define and articulate our data products, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, prioritize, and refine requirements for new features and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain a well-organized product backlog, ensuring that priorities are clear and that development teams have a deep understanding of the desired outcomes.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Analytics Team and other departments to ensure seamless collaboration and information sharing.
- Establish and monitor performance metrics for data products, utilizing data and user feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Ensure that the development process is transparent and that all stakeholders are kept informed of progress, risks, and changes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on reporting best practices and tools, staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Ensure adherence to the data governance framework in shaping data product strategies and practices.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on data-driven solutions.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex data products in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Competence in Agile methodologies, especially Scrum, with a proven track record as a product owner in an Agile development setting.
- Familiarity with online sports betting and casino products is an asset
- Good understanding of technology, programming languages and data architecture and data governance is considered a plus.
