The Digital Products, Platforms & Services team is a newly formed team sits within Growth, Digital & Platforms (GDP) global function and is responsible for designing, developing & rolling out state-of-the-art digital products across brands, regions & divisions globally and help our brands accelerate organic growth.

Our products automate the production chain of Brand & Product-related Content. Digitalizes assets (DAM) to increase re-use and adaptation via workflows (MRM). One source of the truth publication to outbound channels and platforms like Web CMS, PIM, CRM, eCommerce etc.…

Position summary

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Product Owner to join our Content team to serve as a liaison between Product, Tech & the Business end Users, and translate business strategies, opportunities, threats and needs into product requirements.

As a PO of the DAM. you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing solutions related to the management of digital assets and as well the relevant integrations with other parallel, up-stream and downstream systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Business & Corporate Divisions, Platforms & Engineering, Agencies & studios to understand their needs and define the best approach to managing digital assets efficiently and effectively.

As a DAM expert, you will be expected to have a deep understanding of DAM concepts, standards, and best practices. You will also be responsible for staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to DAM. S/He will work closely with product & development team to ensure best-in-class Product Development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on DAM, providing guidance and recommendations on the selection, implementation, and optimization of DAM systems and tools.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for DAM process improvement & Brand Management.
  • Analyze and document workflows, processes, and data related to DAM/ Brand Portals.
  • Develop functional requirements and specifications for DAM systems and tools.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to ensure that digital assets are properly tagged, managed, and distributed.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for DAM systems and tools.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to Asset & Brand Management.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Define, design, and implement digital asset management tools and its relevant integrations.
  • Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions for process improvement.
  • Develop functional specifications, use cases, and process flows to guide development efforts.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure solutions are implemented that meet business requirements through strong KPIs dashboards.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for digital asset management.
  • Conducts gap analysis of both existing and potential systems and solutions. 
  • Ensure SLA’s and KPI’s are continually reviewed, and expectations are met.

Skills Required:

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze complex business processes and interdependencies
  • Deep understanding of DAM concepts, standards, and best practices
  • Understanding of business processes and ability to translate it into application requirements
  • Familiarity with marketing workflows and processes
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello
  • Sound knowledge on Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) - Discovery methodologies, Design thinking and Design validation approach.
  • Familiarity with DAM systems, such as Aprimo, Sitecore, Opentext, Adobe is a plus.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, and social media platforms
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Mural, Visio

What will make you successful? 

  • A degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field provides a solid foundation for understanding both business requirements and technical aspects.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience of business analysis in a relevant functional area: Marketing, Brand Management, Creative & Brand Identity Development, Asset lifecycle management, IP Rights, Taxonomy, eCommerce & Digital Marketing with a focus on DAM
  • Product management
  • UX/ UI Experience
  • Experience in application development that demonstrates thorough knowledge of the Product Development Life Cycle
  • Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment using design thinking methodology Experience communicating with all levels, management, engineering, and end users.
  • Experience having worked in a global environment, collaboratively with cross-functional & virtual teams
