RESPONSIBILITIES
- Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and own the roadmap for Xsolla’s credit card acceptance solution.
- Monitor market trends, regulations, and innovations in the payments space (PCI DSS, 3DS2.0, PSD2, tokenization, fraud prevention, etc.).
- Identify opportunities to improve conversion, reduce declines, and optimize transaction costs.
- Execution & Delivery
- Drive product development lifecycle: requirements gathering, backlog management, prioritization, and sprint planning.
- Collaborate with engineering, compliance, fraud, and UX teams to deliver product improvements.
- Partner with acquiring banks, card schemes (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), and PSPs to expand capabilities and improve acceptance rates.
- Optimization & Growth
- Analyze product performance metrics (acceptance rate, fraud rate, chargebacks, authorization latency).
- Implement A/B tests and data-driven initiatives to maximize revenue and improve payment success.
- Expand geographic coverage and local processing capabilities for global markets.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, PSD2 SCA, local regulations, and card scheme rules.
- Work closely with risk/fraud teams to balance security with frictionless player experience.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Align product goals with company objectives and cross-functional teams (Payments, Business Development, Legal, Finance).
- Serve as the subject matter expert on credit card processing within Xsolla.
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of product management experience in payments, fintech, or e-commerce.
- Strong knowledge of credit card processing, acquiring, and card network rules.
- Proven success in launching and scaling payment products.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; data-driven decision maker.
- Proficient in SQL and data visualization tools with strong analytical skills.
- Familiarity with fraud management, chargebacks, tokenization, and 3DS.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with multiple priorities.
- Experience with gaming, digital goods, or subscription-based products.
- Technical background or familiarity with APIs and payment integrations.
- Previous work with acquirers, PSPs, or card networks on global scale.
